Creative & Social Media Manager

Remote · Part-time → Full-time

Help shape how Klik shows up online — every day.

About the role

You'll own our content engine end-to-end. The concepts, the calendar, the creator briefs, the campaigns, the community. You'll work closely with the founder on creative direction, but the day-to-day is yours to run. This role can start at ~20 hours a week and grow into full-time for the right person.

Who you are

You live on Pinterest. Your camera roll is 60% screenshots, your saved folders are actually organized, and you can find a reference for anything in under two minutes. You think in campaigns, not captions. You care about the difference between clever and cute, and you have taste — the kind that's hard to teach. You write briefs creators actually understand, and you can keep a content calendar moving without being chased.

What you'll do

  • Develop content concepts, campaign angles, and creative directions that fit the brand
  • Own our social channels — content calendar, posting cadence, and platform strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and beyond
  • Write clear, inspiring UGC briefs and review creator output
  • Build shoot day briefs — shot lists, moodboards, references, prop and styling notes
  • Collaborate with the founder on full campaigns: concepts, channels, rollout, and assets
  • Bring email ideas to life — flows, one-off sends, seasonal moments
  • Manage our community — DMs, comments, creator relationships
  • Spot trends before they peak and bring them into our content

What we're looking for

  • A strong eye for D2C, lifestyle, and creator-driven brands
  • A portfolio with real social work, UGC briefs, or campaigns we can look at
  • You think in campaigns and systems, not just one-off posts
  • You live and breathe Instagram, TikTok, and short-form trends
  • You write briefs creators actually want to receive
  • Clear written English and comfortable working in Slack
  • You take ownership — bring ideas unprompted, close loops, flag things early

Nice to have

  • Experience with camera, photo, or creative-tool brands
  • Familiarity with Figma, Canva, and Notion
  • Copywriting chops — especially short-form and email
  • Email marketing or Klaviyo experience
  • Community management experience at scale
  • A point of view on phones, attention, and why any of this matters

The setup

  • Competitive monthly retainer, based on experience
  • Starts at ~20 hours/week, can grow to full-time
  • Long-term engagement
  • Flexible hours, fully remote (some overlap with EU/CET appreciated)

How to apply

Send us your Pinterest, your portfolio, and a couple of examples of UGC briefs, shoot briefs, or campaigns you've built. Include a short pitch for a content or campaign idea you'd run for a retro camera brand — off the top of your head.
